Sorry I haven’t been around much, as I’ve been working my fingers to the nub on this keyboard, getting some juicy stories ready for you in 2026.
With my co-author, Leina Pauls, I’ve been putting the final touches on The Furies: Born of Blood (working title), and immersing myself in YA lit to capture the vibe for the young Furies. Tomorrow begins a massive 30-day sprint to finish drafting Death of the Butcher, third in the Camelia Belmont Mystery series. This manuscript is full of twists and turns and heart-pounding action — truly a thriller at heart — and it’s been incredibly challenging and FUN to write.
And would you looky here! That clever and crafty Madam Claus has been busy in the North Pole Writing Shed, putting the finishing touches on Ho Ho Homicide!
Here’s your link for the FREE download of Ho Ho Homicide, featuring your favourite cruise companions, Persimmon Branch Worthing, Patsy Strippingly, and Pinkie D’Angelo, including unveiling of the murdering mastermind.
Ho Ho Homicide is the perfect escape for a wintry afternoon in front of the fire with a warm libation, and we all hope you absolutely love it. Don’t forget to check out the other (somewhat more serious) works by my Ho Ho Homicide co-authors, Karen Dodd and Charlotte Morganti. And, if you want to give someone a killer Christmas story, how about Death Comes For Christmas?
Writing Wednesday (Dec. 17) and Serotonin Sunday (Dec. 21) will be back next week, then I’m taking a hiatus until January 4, 2026.
Until then, thanks for hanging out and I’d love to hear what you have to say about anything and everything.
See you on Writing Wednesday!
Pamela
